H.V.D. Prasad entered into the latest edition of Limca Book of Records for giving guidance to The New Indian Express, Kozhikode edition centre to get Asia’s first ISO 9002 International Certification for a newspaper establishment. This book of Indian records which published the 11th Edition has nearly 85 lakhs readers throughout the world. This is the first time a Malayalee entering into Limca Book Of Records through such a recognition. This Book of Records stands next to Guinness Book.

  H.V.D. Prasad with 15 years remarkable career in Newspaper Management hails from Cochin. After his Post-graduation and double Degree in Law, he has started his Career in a Malayalam daily Kerala Kaumudi. Presently he is the Manager, Printer & Publisher of The New Indian Express, Kozhikode edition. Under his leadership, The New Indian Express Kozhikode edition bagged a National Award for Excellence in Printing in1998 from All India Federation of Master Printers and a State award for Excellence in Printing for an English daily in 1999. Thus, Prasad’s leadership led the newspaper to obtain an international certification, national award and a State award.Chairman and Managing Director Manojkumar Sonthalia presented him a Plaque Of Honour at a grand public function held at Calicut.

 H.V.D. Prasad after completion of his MBA studies has written five books; three General books and two in Labour Law. He is an excellent organisor and actively Participates in all social & cultural activities of Kozhikode.
