Born in 1952 at Parakkadavu in Vatakara. Real name as Ahammed. Has largest number of malayalam ‘short’ and ‘mini’ stories to his credit. His works were acclaimed as 'Stories born of poetry' and 'Poetry born of stories'. Some of his stories were translated into English and Hindi. Honoured S K Pottekkad Award/ 1995, for ‘Maunathinte Nilavili’ (short stories)
