Brought a new Sensibility to Malayalam fiction writing. His novel on old age homes 'Vriddha Sadanam' was an innovative theme for Malayalam readers. His short strory 'Adukkala' was hailed probably the best feminist story in Malayalam. He was a good editor and edited 'The Gulf Voice' till he breathed his last.
