Amma is  a
wonderful family entertainer from Satyan Anthikkad. The highlight
of the film is Urvashi who has a tailor made role which has tapped
her comedy timing and acting capabilities to the maximum. Not
far behind is Meera who is vulnerable and looks cute.
Vanaja
(Urvashi) living with her only daughter Achu (Meera) is a 'Crorepati'
LIC agent. She also does tailoring. Her best friend is daughter
Achu . They have no secrets except the identity of Achu's father
is something that is not told by Vanaja.
Vanaja
is a little possessive about Achu and does not like even friends
giving her gifts. Achu is an Engineering diploma holder and she
gets a job in a construction company. The mother and daughter
meet Jijo (Sunil) a few times.
Soon
Achu and Jijo become lovers. Vanaja disapproves
of their marriage since Jijo is an orphan. Achu leaves home when
her mother refuses to tell her the name of her father and stays
with her friend. The identity of her father forms the twist in
the climax.
Urvashi
as Vanaja proves that she is a wonderful actress. Her performance
in the climax is heartrending. Meera Jasmine as Achu too does
a good job. Sunil as Jijo surprises you with his performance.
